How to Shop Online with Us
Each fabric product gives you three purchasing options:
- Fabric – Sold in 25 cm increments.
- Samples – Small fabric swatches (7 cm x 12 cm).
- Matching Thread – We select the best match for your fabric.
Below, we explain how to order each option and walk you through checkout.
1. Ordering a Sample
- Click on the ‘Sample’ option.
- In the quantity box (next to ‘Add to Cart’), enter the number of samples you need.
- Click ‘Add to Cart’.
2. Buying Fabric
- Fabric is sold in 25 cm increments (one-quarter of a metre).
- To order:
- 1 metre = Select 4 (4 x 25 cm).
- 2 metres = Select 8 (8 x 25 cm).
- 2.75 metres = Select 11 (8 for 2m + 3 for 75cm).
- Enter your desired quantity and click ‘Add to Cart’.
3. Ordering Matching Thread
- Click on ‘Matching Thread’.
- Enter the number of spools needed in the quantity box.
- Click ‘Add to Cart’.
- We’ll choose the best match, but if you have a preference, email us at Tracy@thefineclothcompany.co.nz.

Reviewing Your Cart
- Your cart will pop up on the page.
- You can adjust quantities before checkout.
Adding More Items
- To order another product, return to the fabric page, home page, or use the search bar at the top.
Checking Out
- Follow the easy checkout steps to complete your order.
- If you have any issues ordering, email us at Tracy@thefineclothcompany.co.nz, and we can send an invoice to process your order manually.
Other Helpful Tips
- Zoom In: Hover over the fabric image to see details.

Pricing Notes:
- If you see ‘From $1.00’, that refers to our sample price.
- If you see prices like $8.50, that’s the cost for 25 cm of fabric.
